Cove Island Park features not one, but two beaches. Like much of coastal Connecticut the salt marsh and mudflats features nearby and provide a natural scenic look along a flat 1-mile walking trail loop. There are traditional lawn areas, and rocky outcrops for those more interested in fishing.
Check out the Long Island Sound interpretive trail signs along the way, or the nature center
Non-resident daily and seasonal passes to the Park can now be purchased at the park gate from 10 am to 6 pm daily. Passes can also be purchased at the cashier’s office in the Stamford Government Center building, 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford.
