Dorothy Heroy Park is located in North Stamford, and north of the Merritt Parkway, at the corner of High Ridge Road and Riding Stable Trail. If you are into hiking in a fairly wooded area, this park is for you. But since this is a municipal park, it offers other things to do. Little League baseball happens, and there are basketball and tennis courts and a pool. This vibe is family recreation, so picnic tables, and playgrounds with swings are available. Orient yourself at the corner of High Ridge Road and Riding Stable Trail.
