In April 2009, NBCUniversal moved the production operations of Maury, The Jerry Springer Show and The Steve Wilkos Show to Stamford, from New York and Chicago respectively, in order to capitalize on Connecticut’s Film and TV tax credit. Collectively, these shows produce 480 episodes a year, taping from August to May at Stamford Media Center’s state-of-the-art, high-definition studios.
Maury is a daily, one-hour nationally syndicated talk show hosted by veteran journalist Maury Povich. Featuring popular topics like “Who’s the Father,” the live studio audience is entertained with paternity testing to determine the correct baby daddy, and telling truth from lie through polygraph test. Adding to the drama, each episode also includes backstage and behind-the-scenes access for loyal viewers who have always wondered how the show operates.
Currently in its 20th season, Maury tapes Thursdays and Fridays in Studio A.
The Jerry Springer Show is back for its 27th season! The studio audience and home viewers alike settle in for a wild ride with a daily dose of outrageous guests, wild relationships, and new twists on topics with the multi-talented Springer at the helm.
Join the excitement on Mondays and Tuesdays in Studio A.
It’s time to lay down the law as The Steve Wilkos Show enters season 11! Former U.S. Marine, and Chicago police officer, Steve Wilkos uses his signature brand of tough-love to approach a wide range of issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, child endangerment, gang affiliation, and racism in this hour-long nationally syndicated talker.
The Steve Wilkos Show tapes with a live studio audience on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Studio A.
